Let's fully accept that we all go through bad feelings, no matter how much we try to avoid them.

Even if we think that at some point in our lives we will learn to avoid them completely, we are wrong. Bad feelings are going to come. But the good thing is, they are also not going to last, if we let them go.

We live in a society where we have separated feelings into two: good and bad. We are somehow pressured by the society to only express our good feelings, and supress the bad ones, as if we are not supposed to feel them in the first place, and we did something wrong. We are taught to fear these so called bad feelings, so naturally we try to avoid them.

In search of the avoidance of such feelings, we turn to distractions and escape. Such tendencies can never lead to a truly satisfactory life, because our actions are led by fear — fear of the bad feelings.

In this video Jachym talks about accepting such feelings, and not being afraid of them. Infact Jachym says if you let them out and be fully expressed, they go away, they don't last any longer, and what follows after that, is peace. A peace that is not based on any distraction or addiction. A relaxed state of mind, which is natural and innate to our being.

Dealing with bad feelings — LYL#21

"We’re in such a habit to suppress, deny push away our emotions that we often don’t notice how much energy that takes.

What if you stopped trying to get rid of your emotions?
What if you embraced all of them, positive and ‘negative’?

Feeling all of it, all of the sensations that come with it."
